I hooked up my ps3

i hooked up my ps3 to a hi def monitor, now when i try to play it on a reg tv it wont work and when i try to tell the options menu the other connection for the tv it wont allow me to switch it back unless its hooked up to the reg tv,,,problem is,,,i cant see the menu screen cuz its set for the hi def cables
