Unplug the laptop from the power and also disconnect the battery, leave it like that for a good 3 minutes. then plug everything back in.

Why does my monitor die (it goes black) when I remove the adapter even if the battery is 100% fully charged?

Try going into your control panel, and resetting the options for your display.
Mine works this way...click Start button lower left corner of screen.
Type the word display in the search box. that will open a window that will allow you to decide when the display can be turned off.
If that doesnt get you to display settings try pushing Start button,Find the Control Panel button and clck it.Find Mobile PC, or Power Options. If you find Mobile PC click it, then find Power Options.on the left side is a caption that allows you to dicide when to turn off the display. Hope it helps

Have you tried the 3 main things?

Clear out all messages, delete them all...
Then do a soft reset by pulling the battery out of the phone while the phones on, and letting it power back up?

Usually that helps alot. Most people forget that clogging their in/out box can comprimise phone performance...

Laptop wont start without battery. its was working with battery and charger plugged in. then just died. a friend of mine has got the same laptop. if i take his fully charged battery the laptop switches on...

Your AC adapter is dead. Look at the adapter after you plug it in the wall, if it is working, there should be a green LED lit on it. If this is the case and it still isn't working, you need to take a volt meter and read if there is output at the connector that plugs into the computer. Either way it looks like your adapter is defective and needs to be replaced.

Gateway M-6307 power dies on boot up (reaches widow screen dies)

Hi,

Make sure that it must be charged. If you are sure, there might be a problem of overheating.

If you check, there is a CPU fan. Overheating might cause thie.

Use a vacuum to cool on the fan to make it spin manually, hmmm it actually started to work after that.

If not, let me know.

Thanks for using "Fixya".

Hi there

This sounds like you may have a loose/broken jack on the machine. Take a small screwdriver and check to see if the jack is loose. If so, there's your problem, if not, then the problem will be in the power management system on the motherboard, and you will need to take it in for a professional diagnostics in order to track down the exact problem component.

No power up

Hello Vincezo:

Try this trick...remove battery...unlplug from wall...hold the power button on and then plug into the wall.

Let me know if this works for you. If not you may be looking at a hardware failure (mainboard).

Good Luck my friend.

Seems to be dead, not recieve any power

First its sad with Toshiba to address you in that manner all they care about is their wallets that sad.  You need a new battery but if I were you I would trade it in for something other than a Toshiba as is that is, least you will get something for it and bugger them (Tosiha) get something else other Brand.
