I have a Mitsubishi projection tv WD62825G. Horizontal lines going through picture. What is the problem?

HI, i have the same problem. I had a tech come out and he was like this is the second one of these today! He said the chassis needed to be rebuilt. 300.00 for the chassis and 80.00 for shipping and another 250.00 to install. I called MItsubishi and they offered me a 65838 for the same price plus 200.00 shipping. So i sent them a money order and received my t.v 1-14-11 only to open the box and the screen was broken right under the glare cover. Now i have to have a tech come out and ***** the t.v to see what Mitsubishi will do. What a pain in the ***. I will never buy a Mitsubishi again. Good luck.

Mitsubishi WD-62627 had power blink then green light blinks, unplugged over nite, now it comes on with loud static can't change volume, channel, no format, or menu

The chassi will have to be removed and sent to Mitsubishi to be rebuilt. Also PTS in Bloomington ,IN does this. The chassi is the box with all th input jacks and electronics on the left. This is very complicated but if you chose to do it let me know and i can give you some instructions. you may want to call mitsubishi or PTS and check on rebuild est first.

My timer light keeps blinking on my Mitsubishi-TV not watchable

tv is not locked up, you have a lot of capacitors that have gone bad on the boards that make up the chassis. We have been sending the chassis in to Mitsubishi to be rebuilt. Some people have been doing the capacitor changing themselves but, this is a very involved job.

Green timer light

I have the same problem with the green flashing light. We have had the chassis rebuilt by Mitsubishi which took 41/2 months to get done. Now i am told after it went out again that it will take the same amount of time. By the way the TV only worked for about 90 days after they rebuilt the chassis. I am going to push for Mitsubishi to replace this as this has happened twice now. and for those of you who own this TV they are not cheap. I will keep you posted with what happens. or if I own a 5000.00 paper weight.
