Hi, the phone does not switch off and on when making calls, just switching between handset and headset during calls, as indicated on the screen where the upper left symbol switches between the "call" and "handset" symbols.

Ok, it's network signal failure. Due to phone board malfunctioning it's a hardware fault. It will require attention from a skill personnel.

How do you pair with blackberry 9700

Once you make your Blackberry discoverable, then put the Plantronics M100 headset into pairing mode by holding the call control button until the headset flashes red and blue. Below is the link below for the M100 user guide with the pairing instructions.

I AM NOT ABLE TO PAIR JABRA BT135 WITH MY BLACKBERRY 9700. WHAT SHALL I DO?

Hi,Instructions on how to pair blue tooth device with black berry.

Pair Your Blackberry with a Bluetooth Headset

Turn on Bluetooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Bluetooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Bluetooth. Click on Enable Bluetooth in that window.

Add your Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Bluetooth window.

Find and select the name of your Bluetooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Bluetooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Bluetooth device if you receive a call and the Bluetooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Bluetooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Bluetooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the handheld.

    Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Bluetooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Bluetooth headset.

Remove your Bluetooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

    Have a nice day .

    Blackberry sound not working

Same problem here with a BlackBerry 8830. Elsewhere found a solution for another model that worked for mine:

    1) Plug in headset.
    2) Turn off BB.
    3) Remove phone battery.
    4) Reinstall battery and let phone restart.
    5) Remove headset.
