I am having sound problems with my home phone (by 3 users)

when I make a call the person I am calling can't hear me, but I do hear it.

same issue where one of the DX 640 handsets does not transmit, and the other party cannot hear the user of this handset.

As of today I can hear those I call, or who call me, but they hear nothing from my end. Only my cordless phone is affected; the land line is all right. I have no idea how to rectify the problem--that's why I am searching the internet!
