First, check if the connection from the power supply to the motherboard is properly inserted. If it's loose, that may be whats causing you to receive no power from the supply. Check the wall socket to make sure it works, as well as checking if everything is plugged in properly. If you are still getting no power, then it maybe time to buy a new power supply. If there is some indicator of power to the mother board , such as an LED or light that turns on when plugged in, there may be a problem with your power switch.
had this problem the other day, when i was running my pc... When I
turned it on,,, the lights on the switch on blinked and my pc runned
for only 1 second then i started reconnecting things like the MEMORY
CARd the proccerssor the power cables everthing and when i tried it
again,, it worked but then suddenly my monitor's light behind its
switch are blinking and i turned my cpu on and off then... after the
fifth time i am turning my pc.. it does not turn on. My power supply is
working because i tested it on the other computer.. I cant Figure out
my problem so please help me..
Try to replace the power supply with another known working power supply from another P4 desktop and then reconnect your wires from the front panel led lights, changing them around until they are in the correct position. I had an almost similar problem and I did the above, it is working now. All the best !
