We have a Canon Pro 9000 MKII Printer.
We're having a problem getting it to print.
We get it all the way to the printing position and it says there is a paper error and won't let us go any further. We've printed 3 pictures in the time we've had it (13X19) that turned out great but haven't been able to print any since. We're wondering if there is any way we can get some help on this.

Need to :
- Replace print head and logic board at the same time.
or
- Replace Carriage Unit
or
- Power Supply Unit
Yes its simple to replace the print head follow the steps mention below : 1.Open the top cover of the Canon printer. The print carriage will then move to the center position. 2.Press the tab on each ink cartridge, then lift the cartridges out. 3.Raise the lock lever, then lift the old print head out of its cradle. 4.Remove the new print head from its packing material, then place it into the cradle in the same orientation as the old one had been. 5.Lower the lock lever until it snaps into place, then reinsert the ink cartridges. 6.Perform the Printer Head Alignment adjustment in the printer's maintenance utility.
I got the same problem after a period when the printer was inactive. My printer have problems with a new and full tank of Green. However, it will usually work after I take out the cartridge and put it back in, but it may also insist thereafter that the cartridge is not original (it is proper Canon) and I have to go to a whole rigmarole about this before it will print.
The positive side is that it sometimes manage three prints in a row without trouble!
You need to check your nozzle check print and see if all the colors print. Also many generic inks are not the right color. Take out your yellow cartridge and see if it's still yellow, if it's orange or brown you need a new printhead, there's a membrane inside that keeps the colors separate and when it breaks you get cross contamination of the colors.
