this is because the multimedia message (MMS) settings is not configured on your phone. There is a configuration settings that consists of user-name, password, IP address etc this will enable you phone receive multimedia messages.
This setting can only be gotten from your service provider. Therefore, call the customer service of your service provider and request for your mms settings. It will be sent to your phone automatically, or you might be asked to bring the phone so that the settings can be configured manually.
