Look in the manual if you can find one. If not drop the deck and take a look at the linkage on the brake pedal. You may well find that the pedal connects to shoes which pinch a small disc in the transmission via a long rod which has an adjustment set of threads and a nut. Either replace the little shoes, or adjust the nut and threaded rod.

How do I adjust hand brake on 2010 Holden Cruze after replacing pads

you don't, hand brake is not adjustable. If hand brake does not hold something else is at fault. Possible streched cable however it would not be unusual for the handbrake to be high but it should hold vehicle on a hill.

Since this should still be under factory warranty I would check with the dealer first. Could need to have the computer re-programmed.

How do I adjust the parking brake cable on a 1991

If the car has a center console between the seats, and the e-brake lever is there, remove the console there should be a bolt to tighten or loosen. Loosen it with the lever DOWN, pull the cable as tight as it will go with your hand and a pair of pliers. Holding the cable in place tighten the bolt or nut that secures the cable. If this doesn't fix it, have your rear brakes inspected and/or adjusted.

My craftsman 19.5 b&s engine has developed a Rabit jumping problem. becoming more difficult to control the speed with the clutch/brake. I also notice that the internal control when going downhill is...

I don't know if you have a hydrostatic or gear drive trans, but you should be able to go slower either by shifting to a lower gear or by moving the hydro drive lever to a slower speed. Always run the engine at full speed. Slowing the mower down by slowing the engine is extremely hard on the motor. It need the higher rpm's to keep it cool and not have to work as hard. There is a brake adjustment on the left rear axle. There is a brake disc with lever and a nut holding it on. Turn the nut clockwise about a half turn at a time to adjust the brake and check it. You don't want to get it too tight or it won't roll.

95 325 is e-brake doesn't fully engage

Adjustment will usually help, but try parking with front pointing down hill next time.(back in, apply E brake .) Emergency brakes usually hold better/well when vehicle front heading down hill. If it doesn't hold with front pointing down, then rear brakes need attention.

Hold button on 2001 deawoo whats it for

The HOLD button works very similar to that of the SPORT button. When you press hold the transmmission will stay in the gear you are currently in. This feature was designed so you have continual power in ascending hills without shifting. You can also use it when going down hills for constant engine braking so you have less wear on the brakes.
