The supplied Sansa Media Converter program will handle just about any video format you might have on your computer. The Sansa will not play any of the formats from your computer without the conversion.

What formatting is necessary to play videos on the SD card slot of my Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu Ray Player?

The SD card is mainly for photos, but you can do video.
The SD card needs to be formatted as fat 16
The video has to be profile 1.1

If you use the larger SDHC cards, they can be formatted fat 32.
It works best if you format it with the player and not your computer.

I cant load moovies to my m.p.3

Check the specification of your MP3 playerto determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 playersuse are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then itis an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video fileto a format that your MP3 player uses.

hi,
Its sad to say that your player supports only WMV, video format. If you need to watch other type of videos like FLV (most of the videos downloaded online are of this type, e.g You Tube), AVI in your player, please reply back to me. I will say you how! Please rate my solution as helpful!

Finding format type WMV

The Philips Media Converter only recognizes certain file types. If it is not recognizing the file format of the videos that you have, you will need to download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder - you can use this program to convert your videos to AVI format - it takes a while - if your video is 15 minutes, it will take about 15 minutes to convert it, usually. Once the videos are in AVI format the Philips Media Converter will recognize them.
