Hi,
Someone sent me a text, I stay in Malaysia but the number the person used is sending the text is 48665950937. I would like to know which country uses this code and most likely identify the person.
I am surprised how the person got my number and where he got it from

Are you sending to someone who would have you in their contact list. If not, then likely the phone has no way to know it is you texting. Typically texts are sent as phone number and the receiving phone checks it's contact list to see if it matches anyone and then substitutes the name for the number automatically.
these txt messages are in fact being sent BY A PERSON, from a website. It's easy to send txt messages from a website, and would require that someone know your cell number, and that they are intentionally wanting to be annonymous!!! it's the new technology being used by people who know how to use it. You SHOULD also know that you should be able to log into your cell account online, and set your preferences to NOT receive emails from websites. I just did this myself, through Verizon!!! Works great.
u just check your message setting and center number.. If the message center number is wrong message will not deliver.. contact customer care and ask for message center number
I get a green arrow when I send to people.
The green arrows turns into a checkmark, when the message is delivered.
With Verizon people this is usually within a minute or so, of course unless my friend has his phone powered off - which he will do, then I don't get a checkmark until his cell gets the message.
With Non-Verizon people I don't get a green checkmark until a day later, must take longer to confirm they got it from another cell company.
The RED X is normally what I get when I try to send to a landline or an invalid phone number, or if I try to send a message - while my phone was getting an incoming message..or to someone who has text blocked. The RED X means it did not go through at all. I will re-send these if I know it's a cell phone that can get text. Then I usually make it to green arrow/then green checkmark.
