I have a 1993 Coleman Sequoia popup trailer. The step door lock has been drilled out. I need to replace it. Where can I find that lock assembly and how can I get to the back of it. The step covers the back of the assembly. Everything is rivited and I don't want to drill out unnecessay rivits.

SOURCE: ho do you remove the dr power window motor , do you have to remove the regulator?

You will have to pull the door Glass out with the window regulator to change the motor, I have done this repair many times, it's a pain

The revits can be drilled out and the new motor should come with small bolts and nuts to replace the revits. However some people choose to put back rivets which s fine as long as you have a good rivet gun.

The side with the thumb screws is your side panel that allows access to the inside of your computer. On some computers only one side comes off. Hope this helps...

How I remove driver door lock machine.
You must remove door panel roll window up and remove, rear window channel by door latch, remove three screws that hold latch assembly pull it to center off door and remove connector, get latch and lock assembly out, remove cover(two small screws) to access screw that hold lock actuator, memorize position off lever, remove and replace.......it is quite a tedious job and tricky good luck.

How can I replace the ignition lock and the drivers door lock on a 1993 300zx?
You will probably need to drill out the center of the ignition lock cylinder to remove it without the key. Start with a small bit and make sure you drill straight into it and then use a little bit bigger drill bit. Keep doing that until you can turn the key lock cylinder and you'll be able to remove it.

I think the tongue weight rating on the stock hitch is 600 lbs, so you are over that. You probably want to level out truck to handle better when towing, so the best way is to get air bag helper that raises the back end.

04 sequoia will not unlock on rear door... handle was replaced and after 2-3 times will not open.
This is a very common problem with the early model Sequoias. The handle assembly has a poor design.

There is an extended thread about this problem on www.tundrasolutions.com. Go to the Sequoia section. There are several threads that give step by step instructions on disassembling the door and repairing the lock and handle. There are also several suggestions about steps to take to keep the problem from recurring.

I also have the same problem. The only way to get into the panel (without completely tearing it apart is to drill out the rivets across the top of the door. The reason the screw is turning is because inside it's held in place with a nut that is turning. You can get to those nuts once the top panel is removed. Can you do me a favor? Where did you find your replacement handle? I've been looking everywhere and it would be SO helpful to be pointed in the right direction!
