Problem for Creative Labs ZEN MicroPhoto Black MP3 Player

my zen microphoto will not turn on. it all startd when this reaload firmware thing poped up. when i went to relaod it it screwd up my zen. the only time it will turn on is when i hook it up to the computer and even then its stays on the creative labs logo. not only that but the blue light thats around it wont even light up anymore. i tried the knowledge base soultions on their website but none of the soultions they mention work. i was thinking about buying a new battery but i dont want to buy one if thats not the promblem. do you have any ideas?

- I have a four year old Zen Micro and the same thing happened to me, so I bought a new battery. It worked for a little while and now it won't turn on at all. I charged it once all day through an electrical outlet, and still no difference. When plugged in through the usb, it stays on the logo screen. - I have the same problems: player not recognized by computer and therefore will not upload/upgrade firmware. Turning on the player only shows the creative logo, then restore menu. It's also not holding a charge (even when plugged into usb all day!). Totally non-functional!- JesRilApr 30, 2008
- I have the exact same problem. I went to the Creative site to upgrade it and it says my mp3 players isn't even connected to my computer. I think we might just be out of luck. :(- lmd87Solution #2

reboot mode to install again the firmware. download it from creative.com. its aan .exe archive. install all from the cd and if it doesnt recognize your zen, unistall the wp 11 and install the 10.be sure to unistall the 11 runtime too. best luck!
