Groupon does have a customer service phone number. I would Google to find the number and call. You can log into your account and it will show you purchases that you have made. If it is not there I would start by calling your credit card company to see if the charge went through. It could be that you did not complete the transaction properly.

A charge for 39.00 appeared on my credit card and I don't know what this is for it is Avinashuma ref no. 4029357733


A Google doesn't bring up any information of a company of that name, but I did find this. Have you been searching for an Indian husband :>) I would advise you to contact your credit card company using the number on the back of the card. Ask them about the charge, and if it doesn't jog your memory, ask them to reverse it. The onus is then on the company charging you to prove that the charge is legitimate and your requested it. In situations with unknown credit card payments, you win. Let me know how it goes, I am intrigued and I can usually find my own forgotten transactions.

This Fixya post has the same transaction number and it is suggested it is a 'Clickbank' transaction whatever that is?

Talk to your bank. You have signed-up to a "monthly-plan" that entitles you to use their ATMs without any transaction fee, or to get free money-orders, or to get "double" AirMiles for each credit-card transaction.

If the transaction occurred paypal should have the transaction details.

The transaction details will be with your credit card account.

If there is no record or receipt of payment got to the credit card account bank (financial institution) and open up a dispute.

Without any proof of any transaction details you might be up against it.

To request a refund, send the seller an email. Ask the seller to go to the Transaction Details page for your transaction and click Issue a refund.
You can request a refund up to 60 days after you pay for your item.

Here's how to find the seller's contact information:

  4. Use the contact information to send the seller an email.

The trasaction will have a card number " last 4 numbers " - match those numbers with your credit card and call your credit card company to get the transaction details .

Telephone the bank that issued the credit-card to you, and see if your credit-card is OK, and is not "limited", and not over your limit.

I MADE A PERCHASE THIS MORNING FROM CLEVERBRIDGE & IHAVE RECEIVED 2 RECEIPTS HAVE I BEEN CHARGED TWICE THERE SHOULD ONLY BE 1 CHARGE


Here's what likely happened:

When you placed the order, CLEVERBRIDGE authorized your PayPal card for $1700 to make sure the funds were available and the card went through, but your card was never actually charged. Yet a hold will deduct from your available balance. This is standard operating procedure for any debit or credit card. When they despatched your thing, they converted that authorization to your charge. However, I think because PayPal is incompetent, because I've seen this before on my PayPal account, when a merchant converts a hold to a charge, PayPal treats it as a separate transaction. PayPal already placed the hold for $1700 on your account balance, so when the charge came through, they had no choice but to deduct from your bank account. 3 things happened here that probably shouldn't have happened:

One, PayPal should just treat the hold and the subsequent charge as one transaction, only deducting $1700 from your account balance once.
Two, failing that, PayPal should've declined the card when Apple tried to place the charge since there was insufficent funds in your PayPal account. And three, failing that, your bank should've declined PayPal's request to withdraw $1680 from your bank account if there were insufficent funds. After a few days, the initial hold on the funds will be released and your PayPal account should have a balance of $1700 or somewhere around there for you to deposit into your bank account. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a whole lot of CLEVERBRIDGE will be able to do for you since I highly doubt you were double charged by them.
So I think it's an issue with PayPal's system.So Please contact the paypal and request query over the transaction they will refund you if any error has occured from their side

When you first setup your bank account, you would have entered your bank account details. I am not sure if this is same process as they do with credit cards, but they deposit a very small amount money to your account and then withdaw that same amount. Then you are asked to confirm this amount in order to activate your account. This then proves that you are the account holder.

Your primary account with Paypal is always a credit card and the seconday account can be another credit card or a bank account.
