When I try to turn on wifi it will not turn on. Help please.

This can be a frustrating problem. Sorry you are having this. Number one and most important, is there a WiFi switch on the side or back of your computer? Some HP and Dell models have a slider switch that must be turned on before you can connect. After that follow these steps if your computer does not automatically connect.
1. Go to the Windows button (rainbow colored window) in lower left hand side of computer. Click
2. See "Control Panel" and click it or type in Control Panel.
3. Click Network and Security
4. Click Connect to a Network that you want to connect to. For example click Home 8405
5. You will be asked to enter a Security Key which is like the password for the network. Push return and you should be connected.

Your WiFi light should be blue instead of orange
On the lower right hand side of your computer you will see some bars next to the speaker (sound) icon. Click those bars and it will tell you if you are connected.

Good luck and happy surfing the Internet.

My sound is muted on my monitor

you should have a button on the monitor to pop up a menu which will let u adjust the volume, also in the lower right hand corner of your computer screen look for an icon that looks like a speaker, right click this and you can adjust volume here or unmute, it maybe hidden and you may need to click the little arrow to reveal the speaker icon. Failing this go to Start Menu, Control Panel, Audio/Sound and find it here.

Magicjack and a usb handset device from tigerjet are suddenly in my computer's speaker mixers. now I get no sound through my computers speaker, however that sound is coming through my telephone speaker...

I am assuming you are on a windows machine.

Right click on the speaker icon (volume control icon) normally located near the time lower right hand corner of the task bar. When you right click a sub-menu should pop up.

Select "Playback devices" and then select the "Speakers" option you wish the sound to play back on.

Hope this helps.

How do the wires go into the back of the creature?

First go to this site and download and install this codec pack. Also, make sure you have your speakers set as you default sound device.

JBL Creature 2 are a computer speaker system designed and sold by JBL. The system is made up of two satellite speakers and an omni-directional subwoofer. The speaker system connects directly to a computer's available sound card output jack or a laptop's stereo output jack. Occasionally, problems can occur with the sound quality and connection with the speaker system. If there is no sound coming from the speakers, check the cable connections. Ensure the satellite speakers are firmly connected to the matching jacks on the back of the Creature's subwoofer. The connections are color coded and, in addition, each speaker connector is shaped differently to fit only into one jack. Ensure the output cable is firmly connected to the subwoofer audio in jack and the computer's audio-out jack. Ensure the power button on the back of the subwoofer is pushed inward. If everything is connected properly, the green lights on the underside of the satellite speakers will glow.If there is still no sound, tap the right-hand side audio-increase button on the right satellite speaker until sound is heard. Also ensure there is audio playing from the computer. Double check the lower right-hand side of the window's main screen and look for a speaker icon. If the icon has a red slash over it, click the icon and uncheck the "mute" option.

Hope this helps

Not clear cant heaR SOUND

you may check your taskbar on the lower right hand side of your computer. There is a speaker icon situated and check if there is a a red icon which signifies mute. Then you may check your device manager ( Start > right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager) if the sound drivers are enabled. Then restart the pc and check if the sound drivers are working fine. Otherwise, you may try to download Realtek sound driver to optimize and have clearer sound..

Heardphone sound does not function

Most headphones have a black cord that will plug into the back or front of the computer in the Green hole.

If you do not have any sound icon in the lower right hand side of your desktop, by the time, then you should update your motherboard (on-board sound) or sound card drivers.

You can do this by going to the manufactuar's website for your computer or sound card.

My speakers were working fine and they just stopped but they still work on my ipod

They may be muted in the control panel. Look for the little speaker icon at the lower right hand side of your screen.

Or the sound engine may be malfunctioning. Try restarting the PC.

There is no sound coming out of one of my speakers (the one with volume control). The green light underneath comes on and the volume control itself works but no sound comes out of it.

make sure the balance is set properly in the volume controls tab located by right clicking on the speaker icon in the lower right hand side in the startup tool bar
