Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

Excel 2007 problem

I use microsoft excel 2007.
but i can not open it from its file (can not double click on the file).
the message note is: "windows cannot find . make sure u type the name correctly and then try again".

the file can be opened by open the excel first, and then go to file then open.
its so annoying..

can any body help me pls?

Microsoft Office Button >> Excel Options >> Advanced >>
Click to clear the Ignore other applications check box in the General area. Click OK and you should be good to go!

maybe you relocated the file itself, check first if the file you are opening is still in its original location on your hard drive, if not, manually open it by double clicking, do not open it inside microsoft excel.

From the Windows Start menu, choose Run and enter
Excel.exe /regserver
This will cause Excel to start up, re-register all of its
registry keys, then quit. Now, try opening your Excel files.

When I try to open a word doc. or excel document there is an error message and microsoft will not open them. but i can open the document through word or excel, by using the open feature. but just by double...


you have to right click the file (word doc. or excel doc.) and select "open with". A window will appear that allows you to choose which program will open this file. Select word for the word docs and excel for the spreadsheets and select the option to always do this for these files types. Once the default program has been set all other files with those extensions will now open with those programs. InstructionsTo install this download:

Try to uninstall and re-install the MS office 2007. Hope this can resolve the problem

In Microsoft Excel 97, on the Tools menu, click Options. Click the General tab. Clear the Ignore Other Applications checkbox, and click OK.
In Excel 2007, Click Office Button, Excel Options, Advanced.
Look for General.
Clear the Ignore Other Applications checkbox.
Now, as to why this was checked in the first place, ewan ko na!

Excel may have "Ignore other applications" selected. See THIS Microsoft Knowledgebase Article.

Try going to Excel Options; Advanced tab; and under the 'General' heading: uncheck the box that says: Ignore other Applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).

go to start then all programs then microsoft office look for excel click on it from there ok see if it works if not reinstall program and update it ok
