Question about Televison & Video
Correct its the main control board that controls the IR sensor there 100 percent correct on the region effected, Now $200 bucks for them to fix ya up is a little out of the world I would just assume you purchased another TV at that point.
What you need to do is purchase the part not from them from www.partstore.com or Matts eletronics and put it in yourself you will save huge $$$.
So they are correct your control board needs to be replaced that is a confirm but the price is not correct, and I would never tell someone to accept that responce.
