It sounds like the memory of the battery may be faulty,
there are 2 possibilities
1. let the battery go flat completely/discharged and wait for a couple of hours and charge up again, this may help to reset the memory or
2. Change the battery, see if you can take your charger and phone to a store put the new battery in and charge and see if its really a problem with the battery if so then buy a new one,
good luck

My battrey is not charging

1) is the power source active (some wall sockets have a switch to render power there inactive -Australia)
2) is the charger plugged into an active power strip or an active wall socket?
3) is the charger damaged?
4) how long has the cell phone been charging? If the battery was completely discharged, it may take a bit for it to show a screen of it charging.
5) if the battery will not accept a charge, it will have to be replaced. Lithium batteries retain longer life spans if you charge them when power level is down to about 20 percent, NOT when they are completely discharged.
6) Better write down the battery number and amps when you pull the battery and keep it with phone documentation.

How long can the charger be left charging unattended?

it can be left on and unattended for 24 hours
as the battery reaches full charge the charge rate is slowed down until it is just working
if however the power to the charger is turned off , there is every possibility that the battery will discharge back through the charger
most ipab, laptop ,phones take around 4 hours to be fully charged from 5% charge

Headset won't recharge battery must be dead

That may very well be the case. There is a finite number of charge / discharge cycles a battery can handle. This number varies based on the level of discharge prior to charging, temperature, etc. Some devices can operate via charger alone - and others require a small amount of battery power and a charger to operate. A classic tell tale sign is an older device that has been used regularly and charged every day or night - but was allowed to fully discharge once - due to failure to connect to the charger. Attempting to charge may indicate it is accepting a charge but goes completely dead / dark when the charger is removed. That usually indicates a battery that was drained so low that it will need to be replaced. Good luck!

Low battery indicator

look for corrosion on the battery terminals. Make sure they are clean and tight. The charger cannot overcome severely discharged batteries. Seperate the two batteries and use a 12 automotive battery charger to bring up the charge. Then reconnect the batteries and use the 24 volt charger to top off the charge.

My phone will not charge. I can connect it to the charger and it looks like it is charging. Remove the charger then phone goes off. I charged the battery with a stand alone charger then installed battery....

It maybe a problem on the phone already and not on the battery. Something inside the power ic / board that's why any battery will not hold charge for long. Try also draining the battery and then charging it for a full 2 hours with the phone powered off as this charges the phone faster.

I have some liebert ups 6kva i have problem in charger circuit i find transistor 13n80 have a short circuit i replace it and replace fuse in charger board 6.3a but there still problem in charging batteries...

Hi, Thanks for contacting fixya. There could be many reasons.

1. The battery is old and completed its charge-discharge cycle.
2. The step down transformer (220/110V to 12/24V) coils got shorted inside.
3. For a trickle charger, the SCR might have gone bad.

Solution for 1. Take out the battery and charge it by another charger. You can use laptop charger, cell phone charger or any charger. You might have to do a little bit circuitry. Then after 2-3 hrs of charging see if the battery voltage goes to its peak. Use a voltmeter or multimeter to measure that. If the voltage does not goes to its peak then battery is faulty. And the charger circuit has no problem.

Solution for 2. Some times step down transformer goes wrong. Measure the output voltage by a multimeter and see if it is giving the voltage what it should be. If not then change the transformer.

Solution for 3. I don't know how to determine if an SCR is wrong. The easiest way to check is to replace it and see if the battery is changing.

How should I charge my 2go pc? Wait until it gets low then charge? I heard that keeping the charger in too long or when its too soon to charge can destroy the computer.

Every battery follows a charge discharge cycle. Say your batteryhas 1000 cycles, and it goes down every time you charge and discharge. Also if you're constantly on power for long, remove your battery.

yes you can leave it in the charger, how ever its better to let the battery discharge then recharge, on a side note does your phone seem to light up for no apparent reason? at random times? just wondering because mine does :)
