The red key means that the TV is in protect mode. This happens when an internal fault is detected.
I assume that you already tried disconnecting the TV for a while.

If after many tries of switching on and off sometimes tv stays on, then problem is likely a faulty PSU.

Try first the troubleshooting proposed in link above. If that does not work, ring customer service.
Regarding the repair cost, this depends on the part that is defective.
As said the technician must test internal parts to find out why TV is in protect mode.A repair that involves parts replacement may start at $150/$200
