Question about Canon ZR200 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Till yesterday I was able to use ZR200 happily. Suddenly recording stopped working. May I would have played with settings. The camera mode either displays a blank screen or the Canon logo. The playback functions are working fine. I can play the casette or i can see the images in the card in play (card) mode. But when I switch to camera(casette) or carmera(card) mode, I can see only blank screen or Canon logo if I set it as default start screen. When I get it into this state, Even turning it to the "OFF" position does not work. The only way to get rid of the blank screen is to remove the battery. Can you please help.
When I put a cassette into my Canon ZR200 Mini DV Digital Camcorder camera, it tell me remove the cassette whit a red light flashing. yesterday I used the same cassette and it works. I try whit other cassette and it tell me the same.

Beleive the CCD has stopped responding. A cheap way to verify this is to point an infrared remote towards the lens and press a key. This will usually provoke a response from the camera even if all else fails, barring a bad pickup device...accordianman
