Hello,
I've got a problem with Intel SB Westville SE7501WV2 with double Xeon
2.4Ghz. After choosing the SCSI driver, it hangs a minute later while
loading IDECD.CDM. The OS is with SP2, latest drivers and BIOSes avail from
Intel. Anyone experienced this problem ? Intel support claims that it
_should_ work.
Greetings,
J.Tetzlaff

Have a similar problem on a couple of Compaq Proliant ML350.
We were using an Adaptec controller (2940) for the tape drive and have to
load it at the end of Autoexec.ncf so that there is some time delay
between the drivers loading.
Also we were using IDEATA.HAM for an onboard IDE controller for the CDROM
but that seems to stall the server altogether after applying SP3 so we
REMed it out altogether (didn't need the trouble).
Try loading the drivers manually and in different orders and see what
results that gives.
Svend.

Funny,,
I've got EXACTLY the same combo,
the 2300 rackmount chassi with the SE7501 board,
bought them ( 2 ) as a "kit" pre-assembled from intel
Sorry to say,
Mine worked flawlessly,, not a glitch yet...
But,, I guess that one difference could be that I've got
MegaRaid /LSIlogic raidcards installed.
