Have you considered NOT connecting the camera to the computer?
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.Have you considered NOT connecting the camera to the computer?

If the camera uses a memory card things are simple ..just insert the camera with the usb cable and the pc will see the card like a removable device into my computer folder...from its folder you can actually copy /paste the picture in the computer .. if not..you need a driver ..(probably you have one that came on a cd with the camera) just install the driver and the computer will communicate with the camera after that either will see it into the my computer folder...or use a manager for picture to import from device ...use windows picture manager ..or the manager that usually came on the driver cd ..or just any other manager ... Coose the import from device feature ...select the pictures and the folder (follow instructions) and download them ...be careful cause some of them have option to delete the picture after download and you may not want this...
hi, if your using your camera with a memory card then all you need to do is take the memory card out and plug it into your card reader and then you will be able to access them via your computer it will be listed under my computer.
The software that comes with the camera is basically an photo edit software witch you dont really need so try doing it the memory card way or plug your camera into your computer and then wait a minute or two your computer will then pick the camera up as an extra drive and allow you to see the pictures, all you need to do then is copy them into your pictures file by dragging and dropping them into your picture file.
Have the camera file and picture file side by side then just drag and drop all the pictures you want to put on your pc then you can delete all the ones on your camera to free up the memory to take more pictures.
You dont actually need the software but if you do want the image edit software then goto the google homepage and type in software for sanyo camera
this will then load up load of sites that will let you download the software for free.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok.
Yes, even without a software, you can still download your pictures. If you have the usb cable for your camera, connect it to your computer and turn on the camera. The computer will then recognize the new usb device. Go to My computer and look for the drive letter associated with your camera. Click or double click to open that drive and look for the folders that contain your pictures. You just have to select the pictures and copy or drag them to your local computer.
If you need further assistance, let me know. Good luck!
well if it is the same camera then i dont know what to tell you. but if you have a memory card in your camera, your pictures are saved there. so you need to get a memory card reader with a usb connector.
You should not need a driver for the Sanyo VPC-T1060 to download pictures to your computer. By plugging your camera in with the USB cord, and selecting PC mode in the menus, Windows Explorer will see your camera as a removable storage device.
There are lots of different USB cables, not a real standardized piece. Try the USB that came with the camera or buy one that has your model listed. I have many and they all are specific to their models, some charge but dont sync, while others sync but dont charge, and some just dont do anything.
