sounds like the appliance regulator is not allowing enough flow to properly run both units at the same time.Make sure the top of the regulatr (the rectangular unit) the gas is hooked to at the unit from te main gas connection, is set for the proper gas . there usually a cap on the top of the reg. under the cap there is a adjstment scew or an insert that can be flipped to increase or decrease the flow of gas to the unit.

The oven of maytag range mgr5775qdw poorly

The ignitors/burners need to be cleaned properly.

Build up of grease, dirt, rust, mineral deposits, etc can cause improper gas flow resulting in a delayed ignition. That causes a build up of gas and the delayed ignition ignites it all at once, and you have your WHOOMP mini explosion.

Check the hot surface ignitor if its not working valve will not open, It is located at the back bottom of oven. Sometimes they will appear to be work but if there isnt enough back emf the valve will not open.

You need a gas engineer to verify that the regulator on the back of the unit is correctly adjusted. The incoming gas might be regulated to one pressure, but the oven works on a special pressure, controlled by the machine regulator. Also there is a small cooling fan in the control panel that keeps it all cool. The wiring can become detached or the fan fail if the control panel has been withdrawn harshly

Why won't my oven ignite? Vulcan model GC04c

i can get you the error code but dont have my manual at the time.a couple things to check.do you here the clicking sound of the ignitor that ignites the gas?when you installed the regulator are you sure its on right?you should see an arrow on the regulator body and it should be pointing to the oven.also you need 10 inches of water colum (gas pressure)with a propane system where as natural you need less, regardless ill be in touch.
