LG washer model wm2301hw won't turn on

We had the same problem (washer would not turn on). The problem was a small fuse blown in the power noise filter unit. The unit is a plastic block near the top of the washer on the inside - connected to the power cord. It is a very commonly produced unit and goes in a number appliances. The fuse inside fails frequently (so I hear) and is extremely difficult to replace due to the protective-covering material so it's easier to just replace the whole unit. I purchased a replacement unit for about $30.

Very easy fix:

1. Unplug the washing machine.
2. Take off the top of the washing machine (two screws in the back)
3. Identify the noise filter unit (top of washing machine, hanging on the right with the power cord attached to it).
4. Remove with one screw and unplug the two cables going into the noise filter unit. Slide out the unit.
5. Put in new unit. Screw it in, and plug the two cables into it.
6. Put the top of the washing machine back on (not necessary to test if the new unit works)
7. Plug in washer and run.

I have aa frigidaire front load washer model LTF2940FE1. We put a pretty big load of towels in this morning. halfway through the cycle the machune made a couple of loud noises, like it was shaking, and...

Never put a large load of anything in, they're quite frankly not designed to work like that for a number of reasons. If the drum is full then water can't circulate properly and your clothes won't get washed as well as they could do.

The machine shut down to prevent damage to itself, try turning it off at the mains for 30 mins, turning it back on and then putting half the load in. This should reset it and stop the shaking.

My son put a load of laundry in and forgot the hot water heater was broke when he turned the machine on. It wouldn't run and the door is still locked. We tried unplugging it, holding the cancel butt

Remove the lower panel by taking out the screws at the bottom. Unplug washer. Then reach up inside to the bottom of the door switch and pull down on lever to unlatch the door. Try running machine again after plugging back in.

Describe your 24032 \ 24036 Top Load Washer Problem changed the motor coupler and now the motor won't work. washer fills up but won't agitate or spin or drain

Sounds as if your lid switch is open. You can by pas it under the control panel on the right in the back it is a the wire plug. Connect the black and brown on the switch side which will allow you to just plug a new one when or if you deciced you needed this "safety" feature. Do not put any part of your body in machine while spinning. Your welcome, Masta tech.
