I want to apologize for the previous expert that took your chat. You did not give me a chance to help you with your issue, due to the "bad advise" you received before i took the chat. That was kinda unfair. I understand your issue and i could have solved it for you. With that said, there are only three concerns in your case. They are listed below:

1. Dirty condenser coils
2. Damaged condenser fan
3. Defective compressor start relay/overload switch.

If you would like more information on why these ares are important to inspect, please let me know. Again, i apologize for the bad experience. I am willing to help you solve this issue, if you are still seeking "good " advice form a real expert.

Thanks...

it shouldn't be gurgling, has it been laid on its side at some point? anyway,, sounds like it has air in the system,, unplug it and let it stand upright for 24 hours, if the problem still persists,, it may need to be charged, the compressor getting hot is normal , if its very very hot, its because its running constantly trying to cool the unit

My side side frige is warm to the touch in the middle

Getting warm around the door is OK but getting hot around door indicates a restriction of the airflow below your refrigerator. The compressor produces hot Freon that is pumped out the discharge side of compressor. On many refrigerators the gas goes to the yoder Condenser Loop first and then cooled by the condenser fan motor before going to the freezer section as a liquid.

Anything restricting that airflow will cause the yoder loop to get hotter. Example a defective condenser fan, dusty conditions below refrigerator or room temperatures way above normal for a kitchen or room inside your home. Insure fan stays on when compressor runs because a defective condenser fan does not always stop when defective. Most refrigerators work best with room temperatures in mid 70's to middle 80's. Making sure that airflow is good, fan's stay on with compressor and room temperatures stay in the normal range is important to keep those temperatures lower in the yoder loop. If helpful please rate this solution, Thanks Sea Breeze

Z25/4W Fridge-freezer had to be switched off or it kept on running. It would then re-start but when it came on again it would stay on. Was told by engineer to replace temp regulator which I have, but it is...

it does sound like a system fault, ie. weak compressor and/or blockage in the system. when the compressor runs for a long time and gets very hot the cooling oil in the compressor can get very hot and traces get circulated around the system where it then cools causing a partial blockage. if thats the case it will need reverse flushing and a new compressor and drier(filter) fitted, then regassing. hope this helps

Compressor working, cooling coils hot, but unit won't cool below

When you say fully charged, did you weigh the refrigerant? These small systems cannot tolerate overcharging by even small amounts because it will result in overpressure on the suction side. If there's too much refrigerant you get hot coils and cool but not cold evaporator. I typically pump the refrigerant into a recovery tank and then weigh it back in to get exactly the amount on the mfg label.

Gold Whirlpool 25.3 cu.ft refrigerator stop working

if the compressor is very hot then it can be possible that the compressor is getting faulty, but also other possibility can be the compressor relay.if the relay beside the compressor is got faulty then the compressor gets over heated.so first unplug the unit from main power outlet and then remove the relay and check it with continuity to confirm the fault.is it relay or compressor.

COMPRESOR GETS REALY HOT IS IT THE SWITCH BAD OR THE COMPRESSOR

Reasons for a hot compressor are:
  1. It is just hot and is not a problem.
  2. Lack of ventilation to compressor.
  3. System is short of refrigerant which prevents the return refrigerant from the cooler being cold enough to cool the comp.
  4. If system is short this could make comp run continuosly trying to reach temperature
  5. If the thermostat is stuck on the inside cooler will probably freeze up, so that shouldn't be it.
  6. Compressor could be "letting by", meaning hot gas goes into the cold side of comp, if that is if it will stop working eventuallly.
Hope that helps.

Cools at start up....then gets warm..compressor is warm.

I would need to know the model of this. However if the condenser fan is Not runing then the problem is that. If it is then it could be the sealed system and you will need a tech to check it out.

To cool the compressor?? I do not have a problem, this is just a general discussion question I'm throwing out there. Every fridge I've ever owned, the compressor gets very warm/hot after running. I have a...

Some compressors are designed to be externally cooled some are not.
They have to process the refrigerant to certain pressures to operate correctly.
The specific condenser and expansion device do the rest.
By cooling a compressor artificially you make it work harder to do its' job.
Cooler is not always better.

Every 2 mins the compressor tries to go on and after 15 seconds stops.

If the compressor tries to go on every two minutes, then the relay is functioning.

1. If the compressor has failed, it might be getting hot and tripping the thermal overload to shut itself down. It will cycle like you say and will be unable to cool the fridge.

2.It's also possible that you have lost refrigerant from the system. When the compressor goes on, the pressure drops below a threshold value. The system sees that there is not enough pressure, and shuts down. Once the pressure rebuilds, it tries again.

3. If the fins in the rear of the fridge are clogged with dust/debris, the system will not be efficient enough to cool. I doubt this is the case as the compressor would generally just stay on for a long time... longer than 2 minutes.

Try turning the thermostat to the coldest setting possible for both the fridge and the freezer. If the unit still cycles off after 2 minutes, consider repair.
