I have problem with capture Dv file from Camera to...

I tried with many programs (as Win creator ,pinacle and dosn't work) to capture video file from my camera to pc ,sometimes it can work and can capture video but for 1 min the other time 15 min but the picture frose and cant finish the progect for all size , i changet the fire wire card but dosn"t work again , my PC is pentium with celleron procesor 3.00 ram 1.gbat , can anybody help me solving this problem ,i thing the drivers for my camera are problem but i cant find updates fot them
