Look for debris in the area left of the printhead, anything that stops it from going all the way to the side frame.

the long silver rod down inside your machine is sticky you need to lube it with some light machine oil then slide the carrage back and forth and clean the rod then reoil it again. this should take care of you issue.

How to replace correction tape?

From the looks the typewriter is not electric but electrononic. Wind it the same way the old lift off tape was guided. The full spool on the left hand side around the guides in the front of the printwheel to the right side with the empty spool. Simple.

During typing, daisywheel spontaneously readjusts itself and then the machine beeps and will not continue. Will it be expensive to fix? Ballpark cost?

Daisy wheel is kind of old school nowadays, you might have to go to a office supply store like staples etc, to possibly get it fixed

Sticker is stuck on carriage and can't reach it to remove it

PLATEN (Rubber Roller) does come out, knob on left side pulls off.
It is easier to do with top cover removed. 2 screws down in holes in back corner, on screw in middle where power cord comes in. Lift from back and gently pry off front. Once off on left side there is what we call a spring clip or keeper, gently pry off. We call these "JESUS CLIPS" because when they fly off you may not find them again, so hold hand over this clip. Once clip is removed the platen can slide to the left. Some have small plastic swing clips that spring out from a hole and pivot. Then you cna clean under palten and feed wheels.

Constant beeping

sounds like your selection sensor has got a wire broken. if you look at the wire bundle coming off of carrier, three of those are for selection sensor. 1 blue, 1 red, and 1 black. one of those are most likely broke from continuous movement of carrier back and forth. common problem on this machine. that repair would have to be done by a tech however, as it is not easy.
