This might seem simple, but just to check: you have switched off the monitor on the track when you go to playback? With track monitor engaged, you will not hear playback, but will continue to hear the live monitor.

SOURCE: I have an M-Audio Producer
Is your mic 1 or 2 channel? If it's two then make sure your settings allow that, if not then maybe something else is getting in the way, so check any audio devices connected to your computer and which inputs/outputs, and try to trace the connection to the inputs/outputs in fl studio, you'll probably find something simple and easily overlooked somewhere. It definitely sounds like it's a setup issue rather than something not working.
I'm not an expert with this stuff, just have an interest in recording (mainly because I play guitar), and haven't used fl studio in a while and even then not very much. I use Linux now instead of windows and so I use other programs and at the moment don't even use asio, although I have and I had similar problems, just needed to learn how to use it properly (in my case) and how to trace faults in the software connections.
Sorry if I'm not much help and I hope ya get it sorted asap.
