Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
Click on the link below and download the Chipset, Input Device and IDE/EIDE drivers for the Dell laptop and install them. That should get rid of the yellow exclamation marks from Device Manager.

Thank you to all that have replied to my query, and for your time. However, i have now solved this problem, it was the drivers for the sd card reader and now everything is back up and running..

That sounds like your chipset drivers need to be installed. If you go to "www.support.dell.com" and select "Drivers & Donwloads" you can search for your computer's necessary drivers from the original factory configuration that was installed by entering your service tag (serial number).
