Hi Kevin,

Unlike Dell and a couple of other computer company's Toshiba don't release service manuals for their computer products.
Maybe the user guide will help you. Click in the link below and when the page opens on Toshiba support click on the User's Guide tab. A PDF document will load on that page. If that does not help you then maybe you will need to give Toshiba a call or take the laptop to a repair store if you cannot resolve the problem yourself. Link below>>>>

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I have a Toshiba Satellite 1805-s207 I need to remove the password and rest it on the Bios so i can do a clean install

Hi,

There are multiple methods to remove a BIOS password. Click here to read an article which goes over a simple method to do so. CMOS battery removal bypass password

If you wish to perform a clean install, you can insert your Windows and Linux disk and change the boot order to boot to the media device holding the new operating system. In some model of computers they have recovery partitions that are used to restore laptops to factory defaults.

I would first suggest you remove the virus. It should be simple. Boot your computer into SAFE MODE. To do this, while the computer is first powering on keep pressing the F8 key until you get a menu. Choose Safe Mode. In Safe mode go to Start > All Programs or Programs > Accessories/System Tools > System Restore. Choose a restore point to when the computer was unaffected. This should help.

If you have questions please let me know.

Does my toshiba 1805-s207 have a wifi card

Well, by definition, a WiFi card would be a card that allows you to connect your laptop to other WiFi certified devices, and most laptops have that ability, so my answer would be yes. You can check on the bottom of the laptop, and, usually, there will be a sticker located somewhere that says WiFi.
Although, for some reason, I have a feeling that by WiFi you mean a mobile broadband card, with allows you to have internet access by using cellular towers, for a certain price a month. Usually, if you get a laptop with one of these in it, the retailer will definitely let you know (and probably try to get you to sign into a contract). I know that some people get those to mixed up sometimes (don't know if you did or not), so I wanted to cover all bases.
So, these are the two answers I could come up with.

Need drivers for sattellite 1805-s207 for w2000

You can go to the main toshiba website for the driver downloads from the following link.

http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK

Then selct your model from there.
Notebooks < Satellite Pro < Satellite Pro S Series < Satellite Pro S200 < All.... and then the operating system installed.
There you go. Select the driver you want and click search.
The search results provide the drivers and you can download them.
You can even download the user manuals if you want.
Hope this will be useful for you. If so, Please do leave me a rating.

Cheers.

HD Replacement

That one will take the IDE style, and you should be able to purchase one from Best Buy, or almost any electronic store. You should be able to put any capacity HD in, as all 2.5" hd's are the same except for capacity.

Toshiba 1805-S204 CMOS Battery Replacement

If you have the laptop apart, look for the Volume control board. . Then to the side of it you will see the cmos battery (actually called a RTC battery) taped down, with a cable plugged into the system board. Cable is plugged into PJ752 connector on the system board.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
