Error message after start up of Gateway Laptop (by 4 users)

Dialog window pops up while desktop screen appears, before wireless connection is completed "Printer Card Transfer Monitor" need to shut down. No help or options to repair, yes , no, cancel, or o.k. just "X" or "close"

I have the exact same problem. I have removed and reinstalled the software for my Lexmark printer with no success. I think this is a printer software issue.

Neither of you have given the Printer Make and Model number. We can not help without this. This seems to be going around in circles on the board and asked different ways by different people. I have seen this at least 3 times now.
