WHAT IS THE MAX AMP DRAW?

Max amp draw refers to the total amp draw of a unit , example : Compressor RLA 25 Amp, blower motor FLA 5 Amp, and condenser fan motor FLA is 1.5 amp , you add all three and get 31.5 Amps
which is your max amps, this is used in determining wire gauge and breaker size for unit.
This should help.

Customer has had grill since 2008 and the pipes where gas comes in has rusted and broken down

I suspect, the piping that was used originally used for the incoming has line was not Black Iron Pipe as required. It was probably galvanized pipe instead. Which, has never, ever been approved for gas delivery piping. Even under the worse conditions, unpainted Black Iron Pipe would not have rusted thru in just 3 years.

Solution: Replace all of the existing gas piping with either Black Iron Pipe (paint it after installation), Flexible Copper Tubing (requires no paint) or Flexible, Stainless Steel, Vinyl Coated Pipe. The piping diameter should be a minimum of 1/2" OD.

If this is not a built-in grill (i.e. Outdoor Kitchen) and is still a cart grill. Code requires that there not only be an accessible gas line shut off valve within 3' feet of the grill. But, from that point on to the grill, it must have a 12' long rubber, quick disconnect, gas hose.

Hope this helped you. Please let be know.

A friend gave me a Hayward Comfortzone pool heater several years ago, I have not used it yet but might, wondering how I could get a manual for installation and hook up etc.

Hayward no longer offer parts or any other support for the old Comfortzone heaters but you can follow the general guidlines from any of the Hayward heaters as far as gas line sizing, spacing requirements and piping. This one on the H-Series should work...

I need the over current rating

Hi,
Please check the FLA ( full load ampere) of your air conditioner then set the over current device with FLA x 115%. You can get the FLA from : name plate, manual instruction or take the measurement while its compressor is work
This set will work for your air conditioner.

I have a quote from a contractor to install a Rinnai R75 tankless water heater. The heater normally requires 3/4 piping. My home has 1/2" piping. The contractor says 3/4" is better but 1/2"...

There are advantages and disadvantages to both pipe sizes. Typically, most houses utilize 3/4 inch or larger to supply high volume circuits like the circuit from the meter (or well) to the hot water heater, outside spigot, or water softener. Distribution from water heaters is usually 3/4 for the main branch but this is reduced for the runs to the sink, dishwasher, washing maching. The reason for reducing the size is to reduce the volume of water in the tube or to reduce the amount of cold water you run down the drain before it turns hot.
Since your house seems to have 1/2 inch supply to the current water heater, I would suggest staying with the current size. The option is to enlarge the tubing from supply to distribution which can be a major plumbing task. If your current water pressure (at the faucet) is ok, then go with what you have.

I have a cutler hammer switch box that takes care

Is the motor new or old? Is this a recent problem or has it always been that way? What is the motor used for? Does the motor start and stop a lot, or does it run continuous? Is it constantly under load? Is this residential or commercial use? Approx.how long is the circuit? What size wire and breaker are being used? Does it kick out when it starts or while it's running?
The FLA (Full Load Amps) for that motor is 22 x 1.25 = 28 amps. In GENERAL, a motor like that usually requires a minimum #10 (THHN or THWN) wire on a 30 amp breaker. However, NEC does permit up to a 70 amp breaker (250% of the FLA) if the 30 amp breaker is not sufficient for starting.
Remember that it's the built-in motor overloads that protect the wire. Best practice is to use the lowest size breaker possible for ground fault protection that will still allow the motor to start. A 40 amp breaker would be permissible.
On the other hand, if the circuit is very long, you need to increase the wire size to #8 or larger.
If this is an old motor that didn't have this problem before with your current setup, then you may need a new motor, and increasing the breaker size is not usually the solution, at least not without a qualified electrician actually seeing and evaluating the situation first.

Can't get propane heater to lite

Not enough information to solve the problem correctly but I'll take a guess at it......

This heater requires a 100lb propane tank (approx. 25gal) with 1/2" or larger piping to deliver the correct volume of gas to the heater. If you are using a smaller tank (like a 10gal) or the piping is not the correct size you will not get enough gas to the heater to light the pilot. Also you should have a regulator set at 11" to 14" of water column installed between the tank and the heater. If the tank is connected directly to the heater you may have damaged the internal regulator in the heater.
