It sounds like a wiring problem. You could just have the positive and negatives switched from the unit to your harness

My rear speakers won't work in my 2001 Malibu. Stock system and wires to speaker okay. fader set Correct. Could it be speakers are junk?

Get a known good speaker an hook it up in place of the old ones an see if it works , if it does the old one is no good . Now if it doesn't work the radio isn't set correctly or that channel of the radio is blown .

Speakers don't work quite right

Check first to make sure impedance marked on speakers is same as original---two sets of positive and negative terminals suggests original ones were dual element speakers----

If for example original were marked 8 ohm and you put 16 or 32 ohm speakers in----volume will be greatly diminished and even distorted.

This is only a suggestion as I do not know what original speakers were or what new ones are----but the key is originals had two sets each of connections.

My sub in the rear blew. I'm trying to find out how to remove the speaker, and what size the speaker is. If possible, I just want to take the speaker out and put a new one right back in quickly. Thanks...

Ok, to help, your going to have to give more information. Vehicle make and model. Is this a stock sub or aftermarket, etc. Give as much information as possible when you post again.

Just removed stock front speakers from 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with premium sound. Speakers were working, but my son wanted new ones. Installed Infinity 9632cf speakers and we're barely getting any...

A lot of companies are using 2 ohm speakers for stock speakers. This means they are more efficient (sounds strange that a stock speaker is efficient). The stock amp may not be able to put enough power out for these to sound good. You may end up needing a new system.

I have an ongoing buzzing/interference sound with these speakers - THey are new - I bought them because I thought it was the old speakers that I had which cauused the problem, but it persisted with these...

Sounds like electrical interference. If you can, try moving the speaker wires. They are like antennas. They might help to find the offending device. Otherwise try moving electrical devices away from the speakers and wire. Do it one device at a time so you will know which one is causing the problem.

My 2004 Envoy only play music through the front speaker on the passenger side. What can I do to fix this?

Replace the stock radio, mine blew out the pre amp and would only play in one speaker, then went fuzzy and died.

Wont turn on...

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.
