SOURCE: i have a champion 35

its a small circle and it looks like it has two small stems comingout of it. There shoul be a slot so go can put a flat head screw driver in there to twist it out. The dipstick is connected to it. If you are standing at the back of the mower, looking at it, it should be on the left in the rear of the motor. I would change the spark plug after checking the oil. most people dont. Take out the spark plug and bring to any auto store, they will give you a replacement. Run only premium gas in it, cost more but runs way better. Put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank i the off season so the gas doesnt go to waste.

Oil pressure

Remove the oil sender unit and fit a pressure gauge , start the engine and check pressure, seems odd the oil light and pressure gauge both showed a fault at the same time, perhaps the oil pump relief valve stuck open for a short time.

1989 chevy c1500 truck has rebuilt engine, goes dead sometimes. engine doesn't sound even in tone when idling. More likely to cut out when. air conditioner is on. Oil pressure gauge jumps around o

You just need to find an older Repair shop that still has the old test gauges. Every so often the Onboard computers are replaced with more capable models. The connectors are different, so you need the proper old style diagnostic scanner.
You can still use the old style Vacuum gauge to diagnose some things and set the carburetor. You should have an electric/vacuum solenoid on the carburetor to compensate for the A/C running at idle. Someone may have disconnected it, or adjusted the idle speed missing the solenoid.
You do not want to have high idle rpm just because you have an A/C; its suppose to adjust when the A/C cycles off and on and maintain a stable idle.
That said, the oil pressure may be more steady at idle if the RPM is steady. Now for fluctuating oil pressure at high RPM, you may have a bad fit inside the oil pan with the oil pump pick-up tube. There are pressure relief springs in some oil pumps, oil filters have relief springs, and your oil pressure gauge may be wrong.
Oil pressure gauges are not a major expense, or even have a Mechanic hook up a test gauge temporarily to verify pressure.

When re-installing the oil pump, make sure it is aligned properly. If it's not, binding could cause your problem.

Compressor not cycling and building pressure after servicing

I suspect you may have either overfilled the sump or used the wrong viscosity oil, may have splashed up onto valves and patially jammed one open.

After replacing Bearing, Compressor will pressurize to 30psi. It just runs without increasing pressure.

What bearing did you replace? Check belt tension. there should be less than 1 inch of deflection.

When shutting down the compressor, oil comes out intake filter

hi there,
well,if your air compressor was shut off this due to pressure switch w/c auto switch off your compressor, the pressure switch acquired already the cut off pressure.if the pressure goes down the cut in set up reached it will start your compressor
to run.
regarding oil spillage when shutting down check the oil level on the sight glass of crankcase
a red line indicate oil should not exceed on that level line,if the oil exceed try to drain oil.,on the side bottom of engine there is a drain plug.until on limit level .,besure that machine is shut off/breaker is off.have a nice day don't forget to rate me,thank's

I have a 95(ChVy)TaHoe but clacks real loud due to no oil Help!

It sounds like your lifters are stuck. Put a can of seafoam or trans fluid in the oil drive it 50 miles or so and change the oil. Use a good oil and see if this helps. If it works it don't hurt to do this everytime before an oil change. This keeps your engine very clean

Goodman compressor cuts off when temp too high

I believe you have 1 of 2 problems going on here your system may be overcharged causing the compressor to cut out on a overload relay circuit internally, or it also could be tripping out a high pressure switch which could be from an overcharged system or a dirty condenser. I would have the tech come out on a 90 degree day and put the gauges on and check the pressures while it is operating under a full load.

Hope this helps you.

Reversing valve

The first thing you need to do is fix the hole in the coil. It will only get worse no matter what you do. The reversing valve is controlled by the thermostat, then to the defrost board, as it has a timer, sensor and all that jazz. As to your question, that is a tricky one. The way I found worked best for heat pumps is to turn it to cool. If its so cold outside that it will not turn on because of an outside thermostat, cover the coil and yourself with a cardboard box or a large tarp. Give yourself some room of course, get a set of gauges that has temp. ring for R-22.Take suction temp. from the line about 1 foot from the compressor, look at the low side of the gauge and find the temperature, not the pressure for R-22. You should have a 20 degree differential. If more than 20, add freon, less remove. This sounds a little odd, but its easy to overcharge heat pumps on the heat mode. The condenser has a sensor that switches on the electric heat if the heat pump is not working. Ice on the condenser is normal on heat mode, that's why there is a defrost board.
