Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

My sansa e260 is frozen with white screen

After i dropped my mp3 on the floor it got a white screen. I can still hear music and stuff, but i can't see what i'm doing. what do i do?

    I had dropped my Sansa and got a crack along the screen. Well one day when i turned it on, in the top right hand corner it was white with a big black dot. It still works but i cannt see some things. How do i fix it?

This happend to me too. I got it at Bestbuy. I send it back with the facture and they gave me a new one.

Try holding the power and play buttons for 20secs together if that doesn't work you proably busted your screen and will need to send it in for repairs

My Sansa e260 has a white screen. It plays music, but i want to be able to see what im doing.


Your Screen is most likely broke because even if somehow accidentally the brightness on the screen setting was messed with it wouldn't make it white the only real solution is to buy a new one or learn to navigate the device without seeing

try detaching the back by taking off the tiny screws (dont lose them!) taking out the battery + putting it back in.

Sansa e260 - the mp3's that i load from my pc don't show up.


Try drag and drop from the music folder you have your music in.to the media folder on the sansa use windows explorer.........

White screen only on E260 4 GB-cannot get to the menu or anything


Adjust the volume while playing by "turning" the thumbwheel. Go clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease.

I just dropped it on the ground till it turned off than i plugged it into my computer and it worked...>.> sorry if this sounds ridiculous :(

Sansa MP3 Screen is white - display not working


1. Try resetting the player if it has a reset button

2. Drain the battery by leaving it on for an extended period until the screen in blank and no sound comes out of your ear buds. Then connect to AC adapter or computer and charge.
