Question about Panasonic PT-47WX51 47" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Power off I have the same problem with the power. It was working fine, then it just shut off, after unplugging for a few minutes, I tried it and it worked, then it shut down again. I have made repairs on this unit before so I think I can tackle this one. I just need to know where to look and where to order the parts. I am familiar with solid state soldering, so if it's required , I can do it, just tell me where to start. Thanks

First off you would need the service manual. the following link has your manual available which they email to you instantly after purchase and they also provide free tech support and can get any part you require from their warehouse. heres the link.

My LG blu ray 3-D dvd player just stopped working. all it says is boot. I unpluged it but still just says boot. It was working fine. Now it wont turn on at all just says boot, its said boot for the pa

My LG 670 also said 'boot' after a upgrade attempt and appeared stuck there. I searched LG support for a factory reset option, which is: Disconnect the LG power cable from the wall / power stripHold down the power button the front of the player for 30 secondsRe-insert the power cordTurn the player back on. Note: my player showed 'boot' again for a few minutes, then shut off. When I turned it on again, it went through the normal power up cycle, then shut itself off (weird). I turned it on again. So far, so good.

When i plug my dvd writer to the power supply it keeps causing my computer to shut down and start back up then shut down again

It has gone faulty and is causing a power overload and this causes the PC to shut down, so it will not be damaged. Either the power supply Inside the DVD is faulty or the DVD, is.

"Cool" mode shuts off

An E1 error is automatically generated after the AC runs for so many hours to remind you to clean the filter. The owners manual says to clean the filter and unplug the unit, then plug unit back in and code will be reset. However, a User review stated that his code was not reset until he followed a fairly simple routine. "Unplug the unit. Hold down the power button and plug back in. Wait to hear a "beep" and then unplug it again. Plug unit in again and it should restart without E1 code."

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
