Possibility of such a bra wire stuck in the drain valve or drain hose, you can check, ranging from filter sewage water to the drain valve (with drain motor). you should open the drain valve / motor assembly. wire bra might clog there. so that the rubber water valve does not close properly

One of my bra wires has got stuck inside my drum i need to get it out

A pair of pliers will take it out...the bra has to be sacrificed I'm sure.
There are "mesh bags" made for washing bras, stocking and socks.
These mesh bags save you from losing clothing articles and an expensive repair guy bill.

We have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer. My wife washed a couple of her underwire bras in a load recently and one of the wires came out of one of the bras. She couldn't find the wire anywhere and now...

If clothes are coming out with tears then the wire is stuck in one of the holes in the inner drum.

Feel carefully around the entire inner surface of the drum and you should find part of the wire protruding into the drum through one of the holes. This can often be removed by gripping tightly with a pair of pliers/pincers and pulling gently - note the curvature of the wire and pull accordingly. It may help to manually move the drum slightly while you are doing this.

I have successfully removed exactly the same object from our machine more than once!

Loose pin trapped between drumm and water tank

this problem has been going on ever since wire bras meet fully auto washers the only way to remove it is to take the drum out and tip the machine upside down its a simple job but does reqwire some level of knowledge as to how to do it as all machines are different but the main thing is it cant hurt your washer the average washer after 5 yrs has around 7 wires stuck in it so unless the noise is driving you mad my best advice is ignore it they are designed to deal with these types of problems if you do wish to service the washer please feel free to email me with the make and model and i will write you a how to do diagram to remove the drum

My washer damages clothes

You should inspect the inside of the drum for damage or something stuck in the drum perforations. I have had exactly this problem and it was caused by the wire from one of my wife's bras coming out in the wash and getting stuck in the drum perforations.

I have front loader MFW9700 Maytag washer. Water

Check the door seal for tears and the drain boot from tub to drain boot for anything that might have put a hole in like a piece of metal from an under wire bra which front loads will spin so fast that the wires come out of the bras.

Noice on the drum and a pin or piece of spring on outside of drum

i aaume that you are guessing that there is a wire/pin on the outside of drum as if you could see it then you would have removed it, the normal things that usally get stuck are items not removed from pockets and the under wire from ladis bras if you can see the ittem using plyers not cutters see if you can encourage the affending item to come out it is important not to use cutters as they may cut the item and then the machine would need to be stripped down to remove unless one of the drum casing fittings can be removed to gain access, this item it allowed in the drum case could travel into the water pump causing more damage

Bra underwire stuck

disconnect from electricity. take back panel off.you will see heater at bottom of tub held in by 1 10mm nut.disconnect wires to it. loosen this nut and pull heater out - you may have to help it with a screwdriver. you can then see into the gap between tub and drum and fish for the bra wire.
tell her not to wear bras with wires!!

There's probably a penny or something in the drain pump. I've had this happen several times and it's easy to fix.

1. Make sure the washer is drained.
2. Remove the plastic panel at the bottom held on with the two plastic screws.
3. Drain the last bit of water into a pan by opening the cap on the black rubber tube.
3. Unscrew the big white cap on the left.
4. Look in there and you will probably find a penny or hairpin, etc.
5. Put everything back together.

I think your manual will probably describe this too.

Elastic eating front load washer

Check the inside drum vanes. Sometimes the vanes may crack and grab certain items.Next check the front of the drum and tub for any loose items like wires from bras or curtains sometimes these may get stuck in the drum or vane and cause this problem. Also check your soap make sure there is not alot of suds this is my number one problem with these machines.H.E. soap is best but watch liquid tide it's been sudsing alot.
