SOURCE: my candy civ60 dryer dose not heat

hi i too had that problem, when an engineer looked at it the thermostat, element were ok,he suggested that there was a blockage in the air flow,i took the whole thing apart ( i had nothing to lose ) cleaned it with a hoover very carefully then with a clean dry paintbrush, there is vents underneath the dryer if these get blocked the dryer blows cold air, its a saftey measure so that the fluff dosent catch fire ! i hope this helps, mine has run ok for 3 months now.

SOURCE: Bosch Tumble Dryer Filter Light

Helenhjb, there is a couple of things I can think of that can cause this. The filter is one. The mesh on the filter is extremely fine, so get a steady stream of water running, then put the filter under the water. If the water doesn't run straight thru, then wash the filter with detergent until the water does run straight thru. If this works fine, then your issue may be that the door switch is set too far back and when you do heavy loads, the laundry pushes on the door and shuts down the dryer. On the Bosch, any time you open the door during the cycle, it will flash the lint filter lamp. The only other thing I know of usually has an E:01 flashing on the display is restricted vent. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a Bosch Maxx condenser tumble dryer that wont work.

Have you taken the condenser itself out from the bottom of the machine? Remove the condenser from the bottom door and rotate the clamp tags which secure it in. Slide condenser out (aluminium mutli-finned box assembly) and carefully take it outside. Use a garden hose with lots of water pressure to spray each vent passage carefully to clear lint and dust away. Passages must be cleared in both directions, long ways and cross ways. Cross ways is the problem area and once you finish clearing the air ways you should see daylight through the condenser easily. Reassemble and always clear lint filter in the door /drum area.
Good luck.

Bosch Tumble Dryer WTE84308GB/17 will not switch on

Complete power failure such as this would indicate a surge or burn out on the electronic unit. I would have a technician look at this one.

If you are really keen, unplug the machine and take the lid off. Have a look at the cabling and front module to see any signs of moisture or burn marks. It may show something obvious.

My advice though, call a technician or take it to an appliance workshop.

I usually just stick the shower on it to clean out all the bits of fluff that gets gathered in there, but remember to give the inside of that hatch u brought it out of with some kitchen towel before u put the condenser filter back in.

WTL 5410 BOSCH AXXIS CONDENSATION ELECTRIC DRYER

the thermostats at the element have to be replaced, they burn out prematurely if the condensor unit is not cleaned on a regular basis.

Dryer tumbles, trake long time to dry or partly

Check the hose at the rear of the drier, if the hose is restricted even to the vent outside she will not move the air to dry your clothes. Also check the filter and down inside the filter area. Clean it out.

Dryer not heating

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail (meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) that might need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can trip out or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehave programs that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcode showing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also be the fault.

Bosch WTA3200GB/01 not completing drying cycle

It could be that it needs delinting, check the filter and the vent hose, remove the hose and put your hand up the channel and remove any lint, also check any other vents etc.
