My dryer will come on, but it won't heat up. I see several posts that state the igniter may be bad, but where is it? What is the best way to find/access the igniter in the dryer.
HI thanks for the question. the thermal fuse is more likely to be the problem. remove the back panel. on the air duct ,to the left . a small piece of plastic with 2 blue wires to it . replace the thermal fuse .but also clean the venting ,as this can and will. cause the thermal fuse to fail thanks the appliance doc

my dryer heats only for a moment. I've taken off the rear panel. If it's the heating element, where is it and what does it look like?
my estate whirlpool gas dryer will not heat at all. the vent is clear and clean. I see the little plastic strip with the 2 blue wires coming out. do i replace this first?
