0NLY AUDIO,CAN'T SEE IMAGE

good day Angel i am Falco the problem you have might be due to dirty heads on the Drum unit, I would first try a head cleaning tape, there are 2 types of head cleaning tapes one looks like a typical video casset type tape and the other is like a wight frizzy type tape that you apply a cleaning liquid to for a deep cleaning the first one is used for preventative maintenance, try the 2nd type first, it may take several times to restore your video note allow time for the liquid to dry up before trying a tape at least several min`+ , if after this procedure the problem has not gotten better than you might have an electronic fault and might not be worth perusing further, If however this made some improvement than you are on the right track and might require a better cleaning procedures, if so contact me further and i will step you through the procedure.

best of luck and regards Falco

Hi I am having a LG VCR GC980W 6 heads HiFi model. There is a bad picture and sound in some cassetes while playing while in another video the same cassetes works fine. I wonder whether it can be belt...

This is adirect drive type and the poor picture quality has nothing to do with the belt.
The fault can be due to
1. fault head- since this is a Hi-Fi type , it is 6 head type. try cleaning the head to confirm, use a clean cassette.
2. Problems in the head amplifier circuit.
3. Check the RF connection to TV.
4. Clean the audio head and use a ordinary cassette to confirm the sound. Also try with a Hi Fi cassette.

If not the head is a suspect.

MY AC UNIT WILL RUN COLD AIR FOR 2 MIN THEN IT WILL KICK OUT WITH ONLY THE FAN RUNNING. wAIT 3 MIN IT WILL KICK BACK ON FOR 2 MIN THEN STOPS AGAIN. WHAT DO I DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?

Clean the outdoor coil, slide the unit out of the case, take a garden hose and nozzle to it use a solid stream of water, and watch the fins that you do not damage them with the water. Clean the indoor coils as well, and check to see if the motor is oilable. Keep the water out of the other components.

Heats for 15 - 20 mins then blows cool air

If the outdoor unit is in defrost mode the compressor will be running but the outdoor fan will not. You may even see some steam rising from the coils. This mode is to prevent frost or ice build up on the outdoor coil. Essentially it goes into cooling mode w/o the outdoor fan running.

Heat pump fan does not run when house heat is on

The outside fan should be running except when the Heatpump goes in to defrost mode. Then the fan stops with the compressor running and it switches the reversing valve to heat up the outdoor coil. That should last about 5 min and you may see steam come off of the outdoor coil. That's normal.
Is the compressor running? It's possible that it's stuck in defrost or the fan simply died. I hope this helps.

Kelvinator Highwall Split Model KSE70CRA

The unit is tripping when the outdoor unit tries to come on. This could be two things, first change the capacitor on the outdoor unit by removing the top cover of the outdoor unit. If this does not solve the problem, your compressor could be faulty

Our toshiba ras13 skv a heat pump keeps going to pre def mode and not heating the house

this happens when the outside temp is low, asthe outdoor unit blows cold when in heating (reverse) then the unit goes to pre def to avoid it freezing. You should hear a whoosh this is the heat being blasted to the outdoor unit to defrost it, then the heat has to build up again before the indoor unit fan runs up again and blows heat. Mine does the same every 20 mins or so (its -2 outside) brrrr
