Have some turn the engine over and ground each spark plugwire to see if they spark. Good plugs won't matter without juice.

1) I cleaned the terminal ends and whether or not I mixed the wires up again, I really dont know but I managed to get the motor started.
2) I took the starter motor apart and cleaned the plates which make contact with the brushes, this made quite a difference to the working of the starter motor.

But if things are not hooked up right. My Electrical rule #6. If the problem does not make sense, check and clean all grounds. Also "won't start" is too vague. Will not crank or cranks but will not fire are two different directions. As far as the choke butterfly closing, it sounds like you have the choke wire on the start post. Review your connections with factory diagram.

SOURCE: won't turn over, battery good, no power coming through ignition wire at starter. Have checked fuses and changed relay and changed neutral start switch. Think ignition switch ok because crank fuse in c
cat convertors still on truck?
O2 sensors still install in pipes? (have they ever been replaced)
Air intake sensor still installed and is not damaged?
Test pressure output of fuel pump.
Replace fuel filter if not already done.
