Question about Standard (CRT) Televisions
I have the model number for a tv im working on and i found a bunch of model numbers except the one im looking for. the problem with the tv is that when i turn it on there is no screen except a flashwhen changing channels. its a big screen i think its a 50 to 53" rca. i know it doesnt have tubes and i can rememner the name of the three canisters but i think one of them might be out but i need a second opinion
If you can see a flash then I would assume you have high voltage. You have 3 picture tubes in that set, I don't think thats your problem. If your repairing it your-self I need more information on what you have tested then I can direct you to the right circuit to further test.
