Visit Toshiba's website, choose Support, and Drivers & Downloads, then jump thru all of their hoops of identifying your exact model of laptop, and you should be directed to a page that has all the available drivers for your particular computer that you can download and install.

Hi Krampah...

To set you computer back to factory fresh settings you will need to format the hard drive and reinstall the operating system and the drivers.
You will need to have the CD's that either you made when you got your computer or if your lucky you got the CD's that the factory furnished with the computer at the time you bought it.
If you do not have those CDs/DVDs then go the website of the computer manufacturer and search the website for "Recovery Discs", if they are not available
there you might locate them on Ebay.
To format your hard drive
1.Format the hard drive:
You do this by double left clicking on "My Computer",then double left click the main drive (normally C drive).
When the window pops open, you will choose "Format"
Keep in mind that once you format your hard drive you will loose all your files, programs, pictures, etc that you installed since the computer was new.
So make your back up on a portable hard drive, thumb drive, etc.
2. Once the formatting of the hard drive is complete you will need to reinstall the operating system along with the drivers.
That will bring your computer back to factory new condition as far as operating is concerned.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up

Do i need to back up all my drivers when reformatting a computer?

Yes, formatting will destroy all data on the drive being formatted. Most drivers however you will have in your operating system and you will most likly have drivers for peripheral hardware you bought for your computer on CD, otherwise you can download them from the web. Most important ones to make sure you have before you format are:
Chipset - from motherboard manufacturer or PC manufactuer
Graphics - Nvidia, ATI websites etc
Network card

Hi i need to format my acer aspire 5720 and i am just wondering are the drivers preinstalled on it

Hi,
If you format the hard drive you will lose all software including the drivers. Make back-ups of the drivers before formatting or you could also download the latest drivers for your particular model from www.acer.com.

Best wishes,
Graemevm
