I have a Casio CPW-310-1VDS watch. Is there a special procedure to change its battery? This is watch has the ability to notify the wearer of the times for prayer (a popular model worn by Muslims) and also the direction of prayer.
(CPW-310) Opps! I took both batteries out at once & changed them, now I don't hv any display or anything........Do I hv to reset something, pls can any one help?
Guys, I just realised that there is a mark called AC on the back of the module next to a gold small circle pad. Once you change the battery, you need to connect a wire or paperclip or something similar between the back or positive of the battery and the pad, it should then come alive. Good luck

When you open it there are 2 batteries ... you change one at a time... never take both out at the same time... its easy procedure... one is back-up for the other.
I just did it..
I have a question thought - do you know how to get the summer time adjusted on it ? I dont have a user manual for it.
Thanks
