On the bottom of your power adapter there is a label printed with the input and output voltage also the output current.
If this adapter is for a laptop, then the label on the bottom of the laptop will show the votage and current requirements for this laptop.

Try unplugging it as well as removing the battery. Than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. If this doesn't solve it, their is a very good chance the motherboard on the computer is fired.

My ac adoptor has a storhage and I need a new one where can I get a new one(ACpower adaptor)

On the back of one of the speakers, there will be 3 plugs; a green one, a grey one, and a black one. The black one is the power plug. Right below the power plug it says the voltage needed (I could only find one picture online, and it looks like it says 15v, which would be 15 volts). That number is the needed supply voltage, so search google for (number under plug) volt power adapter.

Does my ASUS N61JQ-X1 have a dual voltage switch for 110v to 220v and/or vice versa? I don't visibly see any.

notebooks or laptops do not have the switches it totally depends on ur adoptor ... if u are using 110 power the adoptor has to be capable of that and if 220 than too the adoptor should be capable , in the market now aday u get adoptors which handles multiple settings ... best way is call asus cust care and ask them if they have something for it or not if u want u can buy it from them or locally places like best buy and wal mart ... if u have purchsed it in US its bond to support 110... totally depending on the country wher u bought it

Power problem in monitor

This type of problem generally occurs when adoptor stops working and battery goes down. Show first of all check your power adoptor, its working or not, to check-out remove battery and use power adoptor then try to boot. If there is power led on means adoptor is ok otherwise try to reconnect and also check whether the power supply is ok for adoptor. For canfirmation use another adoptor.

If above not working then you can try to these steps:
1. Remove Power connection (Adoptor connection to Laptop).
2. Remove battery.
3. Re-Connect power to laptop.
4. Make switch on.
If above does not work then after step 2 try the followings
A. Press and hold power button for abt 20-30 secs. keep holding on and insert Power connection now if power led get on leave the button. After that it should on.

If all above didn't solve your problem, then its time to take tour of service centre.

Thanks and Good Luck
