Hi, I have a CA 3550 speaker system that has a broken pin contact in the red circular plug - not repairable. I've start to replace the plug/outlet set. I have lost the red connector so I no longer have the wiring connection to match-up and make the new solder connections to the subwoofer circuit board. Can you please help me find a wiring diagram -- perhaps a conductor wire color to the circular plug pins connected at the the sub-woofer? Appreciate your help, Rod

SOURCE: My CA-3550 speakers no longer produce sound - but

I had the same ones their junk... They don't hace magnetic protection and it says not to put them next to moinitors and other magnetic equpment. The only reason the head phones work is because the cables that send audio signals are still working, It is because the mini sound amps within the speakers have some how distroyed them selves. Its not great and theirs not much you can do acept take it appart and look for either: ( broken/or unsodered wires, or a broken circut). I hope this helps,

Distorted sound on the CA-3550

It could be that, or it could be that you have the wrong audio settings. Such as the quality of playback being set too low or a sound setting which is not for music.

Can transmit but not receive, same with or without mic, have tried different mic ...no dice ?

Your radio is in need of repair. Typically you can find flat rate repair for the CP200 style radio for around $85. You may have a bad speaker, or other internal issue.

Best regards.

No output on one channel, speak ok, no schematic

Hello, test your speakers by connecting them to either a radio or a mp3 player/ipod. If you get output from both channels, then it's a computer problem, which might be your Windows 'volume control' settings (in advanced mode you can see the balance control). Alternately, you could plug in a headphone to the pc and hear if you have output to both channels coming from the pc.
If when you test your speakers on a radio or mp3 player you STILL DON'T get an output on the one channel then you need to concentrate your troubleshooting to the speaker system.
Hope this helps...and don't forget to vote!

Hi i am having problems with my lg home theatre system. The front right speaker will every now and then make a loud distortion noise like static and its annoying. I,ve tried new speaker wire, new contacts...

Hi.
First make sure all connections are firmly in place. Not only speakers, but any other inputs too.
swop the left and right channels over at the amplifier end. If the sound happens on the other speaker now, you have a faulty av receiver. If it's still on the same speaker, that speaker is "broken" and requires replacing.

Broken Female audio plug

take a 1-1/2" safety pin, straighten it a bit, heat the tip, stick it inside the broken pin, let it cool then work it out w/the broken pin attached. I had the same problem & this worked.

Male plug needs to be replaced.

I had same problem with my lift-off, i sent email to Bissell explaining what the problem was and where to get replacement parts. They sent me emial back saying they will send me refeb replacement vacuum becasue this part has been discontinued (I think there is a prolem with lift-off and Bissell is trying to make it right for their customer without official recall). I did get my fedex lable and i sent entier length of cord from my lift-off back to them. I should be getting my refeb vacuum soon.
