I have a canon ir3200c that asking to replace all 4 drums i really dont want too replace themm can you please help me in resetting this without replacement thanks

that is an error code for a Canon printer not for the computer
it means you Canon Printer needs a drum unit, or a senor

Time to really order a new drum and really replace with a new one.
Resetting the drum unit will not improve print quality. It only resets your drum and allows you to continue to print. You decide when to replace the drum unit not the manufacturer!

1.Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge. Wait 1 or 2 minutes.
2.Replace the drum unit and toner cartridge into printer.
3.The error message "Change Drum Soon/Drum end soon" will continue to appear if the drum counter was not reset when you replace the drum unit.
4.To clear this error message, you need to reset the drum counter as instructed below.
5.Make sure that the machine is turned on.
6.Press Options.
To confirm you are installing a new drum, press 1.
7.When the LCD shows Accepted, close the front cover.
8.Your drum is now reset.

Drums need to be replaced there really inst a fix if the drum is bad its bad. On larger models 50ppm+ The drums can be polished but if this was the case id assume the tech would have done so.

You have asked a straightforward and simple question. However in order to truly help you I have to start at square ONE in order to make sure I have helped you. Usually the color drums are replaced at the same time. I trust that you have a unique situation. The part number is 0256B001AA. I spent a few minutes looking and it appears (as I expected) that you can't purchase it directly from Canon, so that's on YOU as there are plenty of 3rd party vendors. Please make sure you get the real thing, not a knockoff. You don't need tools to replace it. The drum has a chip in it that tells the copier it has a new drum so there is no service mode or special instructions. Merely lower the front door, locate the large blue handle you would use to gain access to the waste toner bottle and lower it in a counterclockwise fashion. Now locate the smaller blue handle above and turn it counterclockwise as well. THIS handle will expose all 4 drums and toner cartridges. The magenta drum is the second from the left, of course just below the magenta toner. Slide it STRAIGHT out with as lttle tilt as possible. The new drum will have all kinds of packaging .Pull all that **** off except the gray cradle that protects the drum. The cradle actually has locating points that will help you insert the new drum and align it properly. Actually if you took your time and looked closely you would "just know" how the new one goes in without the protective cradle. Just use common sense as you slide the drum in making sure you slide it in STRAIGHT. Pull the tape that you may not have already pulled as a final stroke. Slap the blue levers back into their locked position. Close the front door and the copier will say "hello" to the new drum and warm up. It will do an "auto gradation" to calibrate itself. Congrats. Here is a quick fix for resetting your Mac password.

1. Hold Apple+S when your Mac is booting to enter "single-user" mode.
2. Type "sh /etc/rc" without the quotes.
3. Type "passwd USERNAME" without the quotes, replace USERNAME with your actual Mac username you forgot the password to.
4. Reboot your Mac by typing "reboot" without the quotes.

press the 3 and 9 button at the same time in ready mode.

then the reset menu will appear, press the up or down arrow until you get to drum.

press ok,
and select 1 to reset or 2 to exit.
it will return the ready state and your done.

There is a Drum UNIT for your machine that I think is User friendly. Just order the Canon Brand, and if the unit is User Friendly, they place instructions on how to replace it in your machine. Your best bet is to find a company online that has a Canon Brand Drum unit in stock, and also a toll free phone number, and when you call them up, ask them if the drum unit is User Friendly (Customer Replaceable) if so, then order the drum unit (not just the drum by itself, but the unit is recommended) and replace the unit. This should take care of the line problem that you are having.

IF you want to be sure about the lines on the drum, get a flashlight and look inside the machine and on the drum. After making a copy and having lines show up on your copy, turn the machine off, open the front door, and machine. Look inside with a flashlight by the drum. If you see lines on the drum, then you know the problem is in the drum unit.
