SOURCE: RCA MODEL#D52W20 WHEN TURN ON
Two major problems occur to cause this, and both are on deflection p.c.b. First, after removing the back look for two or three capacitors in the power supply that are bulging or have exploded in power supply and replace. You can see this looking down on chassis and this occurs on the top of the components in question. Second, look for burn marks or arcing around high voltage transformer, or simply a shorted horizontal output transistor. You will need an ohm meter to test the transistor. These solutions have fixed every identical set to yours,(20 or so) If you would rather replace the board try PTS out of bloomington or google your model number for replacement parts. Good luck.

SOURCE: RCA D52W20 52 Fuse problem
Well you could always use a bigger fuse but I would not advise to do it, it could and most likely will blow tv not fuse. Fuses ussually blow from a short or power surge. If it is new or under warranty I would return it for replacement or repair.

Liz, yes it is a power supply problem, better question is; low voltage or high voltage power supply ? count the blink code, it should repeat the code, once you have the code call your local tv shops and give them the model number of your tv and the blink amount and they`ll tell you price to fix, gl, video-tek

Unplug it, wait one hour, take the back off, take a digital picture of all the cabling, disconnect all the cables from the bottom left board. The ribbon cables just pull out (they are firm though), Take the two wires off of the flyback transformer (you have to pull them hard). Release all the plastic tabs on the left, right and front of the circuit board and lift the circuit board up, release the two small black tabs in the middle of the board. Take the board to a t.v. repair shop, have them replace the bad capacitors/resistors/transistors. Pay them $35.00 Put it all back, hook it up and viola. That's what I did and it worked beautifully.
