It can be the power amplifier or the sound processor problem.
Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be, attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find. You may be better off if the sound does work through the PC speakers, to get the TV repaired; it will be more than $100 and up.

The sound on my Samsung 32 in. LED TV keeps cutting out. It cuts out for 1-2 seconds. It does this approx. every 30 seconds. I have changed cables and cable box....no change. Any suggestions?

Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Rear drive left chain breaking on a regular basis. can,t find any reason for this . any ideas

there are two reasons for chain breakages . One is chain tension too tight or too loose and second is the sprocket teeth are badly worn and actually trying to get our of mesh. This will be amplified if the chain is too tight.

What you're hearing is the descriptive audio track included on many DVDs for vision-impaired viewers. Does this happen when you're watching regular TV or just with DVDs? If it happens with regular TV, do you have a cable box?

Regular broadcasting sometimes uses SAP (second audio program) to send additional audio, and this descriptive audio may be the SAP channel on some programs. Check your TV's audio settings to make sure you don't have SAP turned on. There may also be settings for SAP in your cable box as well, so check there too.

When playing a DVD, descriptive audio is usually an alternate audio track. Check your DVD player setting to make sure you've selected normal audio for playback.
