F21 indicates that the washer is having problems draining. Check the drain hose to see if it is kinked or if there is an obstruction in the hose.
SUD comes on every time excessive suds are detected. Not using the proper detergent will set this off faithfully. The machine will run a cycle to remove the excessive suds before completing the wash cycle.once you remove the lower panel you will see the pump it has a round cap that can be rotated counter clock wise but before you do this you will need towels and possibly a shop vac because you will lots of water, but mostlikly you have debris stuck in it or a bad pump. REMEMBER LOTS OF WATER!!!!!!!!, be careful. I think it would be best to cal a service person especially if the washer is upstairs.
What does the Sd code mean?
This code indicates that excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the wash action and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This process is necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds.
Concentrated detergents labeled 2x and higher will require a small amount of detergent based on load size. Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Use only HE High Efficiency detergent for BravosTM washers.
Is "Sd" displayed and the wash cycle dial is flashing? This indicates the washer was not able to clear all the excess suds from the washer. Re-select your desired cycle using cold water. Press Start/Pause. Do not add detergent. Is "Sd" displayed and the wash cycle dial is not flashing? If "Sd" is displayed and the wash cycle dial is not flashing, allow the machine to continue running, even if it appears that nothing is happening. When "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the wash action will pause to allow the bubbles in the suds to break, and the washer will add water for better rinsing. This rinsing process is necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. Is the drain hose kinked or clogged? Make sure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Remove any blockage from the drain hose, drainpipe or utility sink. Use the U-shaped drain hose form on the drain hose, and secure the drain hose. To remove the error display, press Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel once.
If Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel does not work: NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other questions above have been checked, call for service.
Get as much as you can out with a towel, then flush the rest with cold water. Just pour it in and dry it out with a towel until you are able to pour water in it and it go out the dispenser like normal. After you have gotten the dispenser cleaed out you will need to get the detergent out of the machine before using it. Start a cycle with cold water. Let it start washing, when you see suds forming pour in a little vegetable cooking oil. This will kill the suds. Keep doing this through the cycle. After the suds are gone and the cycle is done, run it through another cycle with hot water. If you have no suds you are done. If It still suds up by the end of that cycle, run the cold wash and vegetable oil again.
You should be ok by running one cold and one hot, just watch it and add a little oil to kill the suds.
The cooking oil trick works with dishwashers too if you ever put the wrong detergent in them.
